Socktober: Help us Keep New Jersey Warm

Veitengruber Law is partnering with the Kiwanis Club of Bordentown for "Socktober" - collecting new and gently worn socks to help the underprivileged and unhoused stay warm through winter.

On Behalf of Veitengruber Law | Oct 21,2022

Veitengruber Law is partnering with the Kiwanis Club of Bordentown for Socktober. We have been collecting socks for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen all month. We will do a final drive for sock donations at the Bordentown Halloween Parade on October 30th. You can throw the Kiwanis Marching Group your new or clean, gently used socks at the parade or drop them off at 4 East Union Street in Bordentown for the rest of the month.

During the winter months, socks are often some of the most valuable and requested items for those struggling to stay warm during the coldest part of the year. Last year, we collected 5,000 socks to give to underprivileged and unhoused folks in our area. This year we hope to be able to beat our goal and keep more NJ residents warm this winter.

Giving back to the community and bettering the lives of those in need in our area is essential to our mission as a business. We are at our best when we can be of service to others. When good business people get together and work towards a common goal, we can positively impact our communities.

We encourage all of our networking partners to use your entrepreneurial spirit to do some philanthropy in our area. We are excited about this charitable collaboration and future opportunities to give back. Look out for future events we will be involved with later this year and into 2023 to continue the spirit of generosity and care for our community.
